Using 1GB Usb As A Present This Holiday
As the technology keep on advancing, we realize that there is just so much information around us daily. It's impossible to store them all in one place. Most of us would store important stuffs like our family picture, school document, and critical credential information in our personal computer. That makes it even harder for us to keep all of those information with us when we have to travel from one place to another. Luckily there is a tool call USB Memory Stick. If you have not know, USB stands for Universal Serial Bus. As you can see, by using the USB memory stick, we were able to keep all of the information with us at all time due to its portability. Now, why should you choose to buy a USB 1GB Memory stick as a gift or for personal use this holiday season?
The Price
The price for USB thumb stick has been getting cheaper and cheaper for last few year. 3 years ago, I bought a 512 Memorex USB stick for almost 35 dollars. Lucky for you, in today market, you can get a 1gb USB memory stick for less than $10. Portable
You may argue that 1GB USB is not big enough for storage information. You may also thinking to buy an external hard drive instead but that will be the biggest mistake you have ever made. First, you have to ask yourself these questions: Will I be travelling a lot? Will I need the USB thumb drive with me at all time? If your answer is yes to any of the question above then you should not buy an external hard drive. Main reason is because their size is almost 50 times bigger than the normal 1GB USB Memory Stick. I do not think you would want to like to carry it with you while travelling. It can be extremely inconvenience.

would a 32-bit windows vista work on a computer with 1gb ram?
I have a 32-bit Windows Vista at home and i would like to know if it would work on a 1gb RAM computer?
If it's Home Basic, it will run fine.
If it's Home Premium or higher, you might consider disabling AERO, and disabling the DESKTOP WINDOW MANAGER service to make the computer a little more fast and responsive. AERO wouldn't work anyway if your graphics hardware doesn't support WDDM.
